What Happens If a Car Fails the Roadworthy Inspection?
You will need to repair or resolve any identified issues before you are able to acquire a QLD Roadworthy Certificate after failing inspection. If you do not complete and pass the inspection within 7 days, you will not be in legal compliance with Queensland law, and you will have to begin the inspection process again. Failure to complete and pass inspection may incur a penalty or fine.
How Much Does It Cost for a QLD Roadworthy Certificate?
We charge $88 plus GST for our roadworthy inspection, and we can issue a certificate immediately upon completion if your vehicle passes.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
Before you put any money down on a new car for yourself or your business, it is highly recommended that you take the vehicle in to be checked out by a knowledgeable mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. As part of our pre-purchase inspection process, your vehicle will be examined by one of our fully qualified technicians who will do a thorough revision of our 116 point checklist.

What’s more, your vehicle will undergo a free PPSR History test to verify the Personal Property Securities Register regarding any history of accidents, thefts, or write-offs.
When you bring your vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection, you’ll receive a written report detailing any causes for concern; plus, we’ll be glad to explain any questions that may arise for you during this process, as well as share advice for the next steps to take.
What Features and Parts Are Checked in a Pre-Purchase Inspection?
